Try going to accessibility settings and switching "reduce motion" on. Doesn't get rid of everything but makes for less annoying experience.

On apple devices, reduce motion generally just replaces the motion in the animation with a fade in-out. The transition still takes the same amount of time.

At least perceived amount of delay is lower. Sometimes it's the little things that help.

This option does not remove the animation.
