The good news is these are substation attacks, and not a big deal.

Also, probably likely to inspire vigilantly justice as it inconveniences so many people personally when pulled off.

I bet these people get it just as bad as murders and molesters in the future as thousands go without power for many days.

Unfortunately, this sort of thing is going to become a lot more common.

There was one of these power-infrastructure attacks in the news recently, and I instinctively thought, "ah, another government-takedown-chaos thing"

Turns out it was done to provide cover for a burglary. The perpetrators robbed a cash register
