As events since have shown, "next week" was far too optimistic. Quite a lot of things are
already reported as no longer functional. Once again, Twitter is going to change over a weekend. The same cycle of boilerplate and patently bogus responses and non-responses is happening to the API users as happened to the 3rd-party app developers.
