I generally only photograph a lot when I am traveling, and as I am in the middle of a 8 month-ish trip through Latin America at the moment, that means pictures of the various countries such as Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Panama etc. I love to take documentary or candid pictures of interesting people, as well as of some of the beautiful nature I am traveling through.
One of my personal favorite photos I've taken came about by venturing into a smaller fruit and vegetable market in Copacabana, Bolivia just on the shore of Lake Titicaca. While browsing for avocados a little girl suddenly went running around with an empty box on her head and I managed to catch a moment where her bigger sister was observing her while she was next to the produce. A favorite newer landscape photo of mine was captured in the Puracé national park in Colombia. We were on a tour through the park and while observing the view at one point, the light poked selectively through the clouds to illuminate only certain parts of the green landscape.
