Seriously?? This is why I think layoffs in tech are needed. Spoilt brats. 8 weeks is a luxury no other industry offers. By law it's actually 1 week per year and this doesn't even have the WARN law behind it
Just on payroll. The amount of severence is the same as non h1b's. It just gives them more time to find another job (i mean take another job away from a qualified US citizen)
