It's an administrative job for someone with 5 years experience. I don't think they have any direct reports. Do jobs like this really pay more than 150k?

Yeah. The job description also says they report to the president. Its not clear to me if there are other people at Atari already with this job title or a similar one. Even though Atari is much smaller than it used to be I think the headline is not accurate.
