Can whoever flagged OP explain why? This looks pretty newsworthy to me. Apple's tweets really do appear to be gone.

Honestly I was surprised that it was removed. It wasn't even flagged, it just became dead. I think it's a huge story so I'm not sure why. My other post was about Twitter and was killed as well. No explanation offered by the mods here.
