Tim Hunkin (the man behind these arcades) also did an excellent video series called "The secret life of machines" for the BBC in the 80s.

It was recently remastered, and is now up on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJlrbMHLBd4&list=PLtaR0lZhSy... (All three seasons!)

I cannot recommend it strongly enough.

He also did Secret Life of Components which is very good. I used it as part of a Design & Technology course for my home school.

Thanks! I hadn't heard of that show before, having watched the first episode you can tell it's from the era of Tomorrows World and the legendary Johnny Ball!
