Because there's a lot of questionable and predatory content online, parents (and local communities) should take responsibility to make sure their children don't fall victim to it.
Also because having a divide between things someone privately searches up vs things they publicly talk about is unhealthy. Ideally there should be no divide and everything should be known to everyone
