Nice start to an app.
One thing I would recommend is capitalizing the nouns in German. It's really weird seeing them written lowercase.
That would give away a hint to the answer since you'd know if the answer should be capitalized or not depending on whether the English word is a noun, so maybe you could make sure possible answers are all nouns or all non -nouns to compensate.
