That's true, although you should be draining them to remove water frequently enough (just to keep it in good health) that I wouldn't have thought it'd make much of a difference

Draining the water doesn't mean what comes out isn't at 100% humidity--and thus can condense out water if the temperature drops enough.
(Which doesn't mean that it isn't total overkill to use nitrogen rather than just dry air.)
