So what do the companies with Exchange and Lotus do today? Do they still host their email-servers themselves, or already gave up and moved to big-providers? I can hardly imagine companies will leave their emails on Google or Microsoft for them to scan and abuse. But I'm so many years out of corporate environment.
Majority outsource to the big providers. Way better total cost of ownership, and corp accounts are safe from all the scanning bullshit because they’re paid for accounts. They’re actually the customer not the commodity like on the free versions.
