Grocery store is a really poor example. Unless you go on busy days you have like 30 secconds to close which is not enough time

There are certain grocery stores nationwide notorious for this - e.g. “Club Pub”(lix) in Tallahassee and a certain Safeway in DC.

The “social Safeway” (there is also one called the “Soviet Safeway”).
