I quit everything and spent an entire year building an alternative to Dropbox (opens in new tab)

80 days ago it was "Show HN: I spent a year building a desktop environment that runs in the browser" submitted by a different user https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31611016

Is there a way it can avoid "hijacking" my browser's back button and still maintain its core functionality?

[caveat] I am not in the intended audience for the product since I don't use dropbox and barely use Google Drive when I have that type of problem to solve.

"Puter - Your friendly neighborhood cloud computer!" I didn't even know Dropbox was in that business. Dropbox for me is syned folders (which I pay for) and I kind of ignored all their new features and projects.
