Apple Planning to Show Ads in Maps App Starting Next Year (opens in new tab)

I wish Apple would get out of the ads business. It cheapens the experience and their image as a premium brand, and surely they aren't making enough to make that worthwhile.

If this is happening, please let me opt out via, gosh, even a subscription.

Bundle it into iCloud+ or whatever. I prefer to pay in cash over attention!
