What do you think the knock-on effects will be? Will cloud providers raise prices through the roof? Will companies abandon the cloud and go back to running their own servers in an attempt to control costs? Curious to see what people think

Azure is having capacity problems right now so you don't have to wonder.

More likely all the chips would go to the cloud and none would be available for others. We've already seen stories that you can't buy Ampere Altra because Oracle/MS/Google are buying all of them.
