This is a really interesting list for highlighting the gap between Data Scientists and the folks they serve.
Honestly though, in all my time as an engineer (including in Data Science) my best ideas/breakthroughs have come from a non-technical person asking what seemed like a stupid question, often along the lines of "Could we use AI to do X?" Usually I end up dismissing them outright, only to have the question stew in my brain for 2-3 weeks before hitting on an "aha moment" that solves their use case.
