In this usecase wouldn't something like postgrest work just as well? If the point is to expose database functions or tables to HTTP that would be my first call

Yes, a postgrest container would have also worked just fine for this one.

Is the link wrong? The title of the linked post is "Instant Heatmap with pg_featureserv", and from a quick skim, I don't see how the HN title applies.

The app is built with containers running inside Postgres. Wasn't sure whether to lead with the cool map or the cool tech.
