if we are comparing web 2.0 to the current "web3", they are completely different, poles apart.
at least web 2.0 does not lose people tons of money and was immediately useful. "web3" is based on blockchains that are slow, full of disasters and ultimately resembles a ponzi scheme with imaginary tokens.
