Ironically, this article seems out of date. OLEDs can suffer from burn in so why not play it safe?

Why not keep turning it off to save on the electric bill?

Can't hurt but OLEDs sip power anyway so the bill difference would be de minimus.

Did this come of a research rabbit hole prompted by the missed Jeopardy question last night?
