This was discussed a few days ago [0] (I don't know if it's really HN material but it got some discussion). I mention this because I commented there siding provisionally with the "$5000/hour" consultant - this was per hour of workshop as I understand it, which with prep and support could trivially command such a rate. I am "right-wing" if you have to give labels, and I likely don't agree with the consulting professor's views. But that's certainly not a reason to feign outrage that she got what appears to be a normal market rate for her work. It's interesting (and discredits the magazine imo) to see them leading with the $5000 thing - it's what you'd expect from Fox News
