I appreciate that, even though it's a joke, they went for a look that would've potentially been achievable on the platform, rather than just "spectrifying" some existing 3D screenshots.
If you're going to do anything on this, the worst day on the internet -- International Heavily-Signposted-Tiresome-Geek-Humour Day -- do it with this amount of whimsy, love and care.

As an aside there's something very meditative in Euro Truck Simulator/American Truck Simulator. After a long/tiring day doing a virtual haul for 30-45 minutes is really relaxing and soothing.
