It is hard to see this as surprising oh, and I expect it as a Prelude to further asset seizures with in Russian territory.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. I think the bigger topics to watch are nationalization of oil infrastructure and default on foreign debt.
Sanctions have sized over 600 billion in Russian owned foreign reserves, and if this looks to be permanent, they may look to recoup the losses wherever possible.
