This has been known for a long time. I can’t even begin to describe the rot at the NHS, but I can point you to an article I just read on how whistleblowers are treated in the system [1]. Adam Kay also wrote an achingly funny book on how tough life as a junior doctor is, which I’d urge you to check out.
