Im sure you can be an unworthy Rust monkey as well.
I have had a lot of fun previously, voicing my contempt for Javascript, the ecosystem that has congealed and actively festers around it, and the people who enjoy the perverse and beguiling practices they indulge in there. "Unworthy Jskirpt monkey" sounds a bit like something i might've said to someone on IRC 20yr ago. While wishing I didn't have to support "webTV" and could use some of the tools they were showing such cool results with.
However. There is a lot of good done there (with Jskirpt), and there's a lot of cool things that, while of arguable value and regrettably unsound foundations, are at least fun and worthy enough because of that.
If you want to write good code, many languages help do that, and some make it easier than others. If you want to write Correct code, there's bondage and discipline and straps and barbed wire systems to subject yourself to. If you want to demonstrate your mental flexibility or variance, there's things like Befunge and COBOL.
It aint the tool, its what you do with it.
