Seems expensive for just curation even though I don't discount the work required for top quality curation.

plus it would be trapped in my email. Is there a backlog to review? seems like a downgrade from longform which is a normal functional website.

Not having an archive of links may be a feature -- relieving you of the responsibility to decide what to read.
