I'm... Honestly not sure if you're kidding, so I'm not sure how to respond. I don't think there's a single National Park in in the US that had free entry.

Well I grew up in NH and went to national parks about once a month without paying.

My guess is you're in the west of the country.

Which national parks did you go to? You would have had to travel out of state because New Hampshire doesn't have even one.

Which parks? There are very few National Parks in the NE—- Maine is the only place that comes to mind.

I was referring to the White Mountain National Forest, though I see now officially it's not a park.

Still, in NH the parks are free, they just are run by the state instead of the federal government.
