Wow, why would anyone want to slow down innovation, no matter where it comes from. You can try to speed up innovation in the us or Europe. trade secrets don’t necessarily slow innovation, because ip protection is an incentive for the first mover to innovate. But stopping the first mover is very bad.

Economic warfare. It sucks but it's a thing.

But it doesn’t make economic sense. It’s like bitcoin miners have no incentive to ban clients that want to send them transaction fees.

I guess it makes sense only when the other side is also not acting in their self interest.

Wouldn't an innovative solution be to facilitate peaceful innovation wherever it is found rather than demonizing an ascending superpower?
