Litecoin Tumbles Amid Speculation Walmart News Is Fake (opens in new tab)

Someone's been scammed here, most likely it is fake news for a pump and dump. The fact that mainstream news just spread it shows they have no understanding of cryptocurrencies.

Or... Walmart themselves have been scammed if the news is true. Someone convinced them LTC was actually a good choice...

As far as cryptocurrencies go I feel like litecoin isn't that bad. It's been around forever and it's basically just a bitcoin fork with different parameters. Because it's not crazily-over speculated like btc using it feels more liquid. I have actually used it for some online purchases, unlike btc which is more or less a lottery ticket for me.
