I am on AT&T with an eSIM. I updated to 14.7.1 and am getting "SIM Failure" when I try to do anything. Cannot connect voice or data.
I have tried:
- Going to AT&T store and getting a physical sim to replace my current eSIM (no dice)
- Resetting network settings
- Resetting entire phone
Do NOT update to 14.7.1 if you are on AT&T and have an eSIM! Save the hassle!
It’s currently under investigation by their engineering team. Funny enough I took it to the apple store and two other people were in there with the same issue. They replaced my phone.
I am guessing the update somehow fried the baseband chip.
