Ask HN: Favourite games to play with kids during lockdown

Sydney, Australia has just entered lockdown for the first time in 14 months due to Covid19.

For those of us with kids (especially toddlers), it can be particularly challenging.

What was the favourite game* you played with your little ones in times like this?

*Physical, not digital :)

I got my 4->5 year old some really simple board games. Some worked well ..some are collecting dust. Suggestions: Animal upon animal, my first castle panic, patchwork (able to play at 5), Sorry, Monopoly (with simpler rules), my first catan, and a few others.

For the little one, we just do toys. TV was banned in our house for little kids but we gave up a few months in (had a 1 year+ lockdown with 2 kids).
