Algorithm correctly identifies Covid-19 only by the sound of coughs (opens in new tab)

More correct title would be: algorithm identifies respiratory diseases by the sound of the cough and likely doesn’t make a difference between Covid-19, other coronavirus, or flu.

From November 2020.. where's the damned app already?

Since this is 2021, imagine the number of fraudulent apps that claim this and steal your data instead (thanks Google and Apple...).

Also, I wonder why there's no news about a massive training program to train dogs to smell the virus, because apparently they're very effective at it.
