Why doesn't Amazon show total price on order list? (opens in new tab)

They break the charges and rip off the people.

When trying to reconcile budgets, I need to know what was bought for how much. On the order list page, Amazon does not show the total price paid, but makes you click into each item to see the total. Seems like a dark pattern.

They did show the order total not that awful long ago did they not? I noticed this as well recently...

Ebay does it, it makes sense to be there. I would assume this is a deliberate action to hide it.
