I don't know how to do it. I don't know how to even begin to respond, in a socially acceptable fashion. I'm just so mad, so sad, at such emotional unsupported & morally corrupt anti-trying argumentation. so tired. at this subversion. this insistence that the future always be delivered to us pre baked, perfect. what a grovelling pathetic consumerist mindset. open source in itcs earlier before-industrialization phase rightfully gave no shit's about any of this lowlife complaining "what about the users". excuse me. we did, but we wanted co-participation & some earned stake/buy in/effort. we are all in this together. we are all trying to improve. that is open source. sometimes open source means doing hard things, sometimes it means the right thing will take time. defending old ailing poorly designed hard to work with systems because they're not friendly to l-users, to the hapless many right now? so bloody what. hard work takes blood sweat & tears. put the work in. try to be a good adopter. try to work forwards. if you stumble, get back up. if you can't get back up, be a member of the community & report what you experienced. see if you can help coax things forward.

because Nvidia has been a gigantic motherloading dunderthud about their Linux support in every way forever. there's very few clear arguable distinct points in this whole long ball of hot air & one of the few is blaming wayland for the character of one of the most antagonistic least-moral least-cooperative most-imervious pc hardware companies ever to have existed. insert heavily zoomed i Linus torvalds middle finger here. using points like this as core arguments/examples severely undermines what little desire anyone should have to give this acid-posting an iota of concern. also there seem to be great strides recently & people are supporting nvidias eglstreams after a decade of no one liking it at all, so the argument isn't even true any more. uuuggghhhh. what mental sabotage this article does to us!!!

this post & the hundreds like it are sabotage, mind poisons, insisting you adopt here-and-now values over what-can-be values. whatever you do must be in sacrifice to today, & tomorrow counts for zilch.

do mighty things. wayland is mighty. it has a real architecture for connecting things, a sense to it. x never did. x was the end of the road, a pile of chaos tweaked to the end of it's life. it's unworkable, it is & will always be only what it is. it doesn't make sense, it's a mutant of a mutant of a mutant of a mutant that had to adapt to survive, but some new genetics were needed, something we can grow & travel with & that can adapt & can be adapted. progress in smoothing over the final areas has been amazing in the last two years. get onboard. help. try & report & improve what ails you. you are open source.
