Am I the only one who sees this as another giant scam, so politicians and their friends can get rich? Is there an overwhelming demand for rail travel between Boston and New York? Did you know there are zero government rail systems that have ever shown a profit? NYC subway system is the most efficient in the world, yet prices cannot cover 50% of OPERATING COSTS, much less upgrades, etc. $105 billion is just the beginning for this boondoggle...guess whose taxes will pay the bill.
