Just like with regular government almost everything will go somewhat wrong. I admit I'm curious what they get right.

I guess such pseudogoverments would quickly reduce to scientology-like cults.

Look no further than Disney, who achieved this in the 60s.

Huh, why? Why not christianity-like cults?

My assumption would be, e.g., because you might have to micro-pay your way through the city.

Christian churches ask for money, Scientology requires it.
