Strongly disagree until the data actually shows this; Facebook is not losing users nor employees en masse, despite the media constantly attempting to imply this (check their quarterly filings, MAUs, and so on), and although it's correct that they have a bit of a brand crisis with many end-users, it doesn't extend to products like Instagram and Oculus (among other future ones) as much as we may believe, as both are also thriving and likely to remain as such.
I don't mean to say FB will 'win' an AI war, but I think they will be a highly-relevant company for a long time to come in more ways than one, even if the original FB platform ends up being less important.
