This is like that silly discussion of the centrifugal force.

Forces are mathematical models, not fundamental properties of reality (we don't know what the fundamental properties of reality are).

It's one of a general class of problems: "we are each using a word to mean something different". Taboo the word "force" and see if you still disagree :P
