Is text-based video editing really a new disruptive thing? What are your thoughts?

Really an exciting approach to editing a video text-based! A big advantage I can imagine is that the video can be searched automatically when it is transcribed. A disadvantage is that editing is only possible if the video includes spoken words.

Absolutely true! We are currently working on detecting breaks, so that you can still edit these areas.

I can't imagine replacing my premiere timeline with your tool - but I think I will give it a try.
