ask HN: Does internet provide any value outside HN?

i am a programmer, growth hacker and engineer. still, when surfing the web I soon become overwhelmed, frustrated and confused.

we might be able to stem that issue here, but think about less fortunate people in term of education. haven’t we decided to work here for our beloved, our friends and neighbors?

technology is elitarian but does it really need to be that way? your early adopters might be there in SF but there is a world outside there that need your help, now
