Because the new version was pushed out without warning, wiped out the ability to use all but a handful of extensions, and made drastic changes to the UI:
Personally the complete removal of bookmark keywords (like search keywords but syncs across devices) makes me want to abandon ship. The fact that all telemetry/privacy settings were reset doesn't help...
