xhyve uses Hypervisor.framework internally. It's just a port of bhyve's drivers to macOS's native hypervisor.

Right. For clarification purposes, Hyperkit is a fork (I think) of xhyve. Both Hyperkit and xhyve use Hypervisor.framework.
