I don't think this will last. It's not my personal opinion or preference, I care few about the modern web but to me .. watching people interacting with computers, browsers and how they use whatsapp or instagram .. I see no value for them[0] into the early simple web. It's like betting against television in the 90s.
[0] meaning in the average folk psychology, of course a simpler cleaner web has value, just not to them AFAIB
