I like my personal desktop builds to be at least vaguely aesthetically pleasing, but I agree that RGB lights everywhere is not the way to do it. Just give me a nice black and white color scheme and maaaybe a couple of easily disabled lights here and there.
Totally understand that viewpoint. The computer I have right now is the first one I ever built, so I think I'm still riding the high of "wow I built this" and want to see it. I imagine my future builds will be more and more shove it in the corner.
