Anecdotally, mine doesn't work with sunglasses. I have to lift them up to get it to recognize me.

It really depends on sunglasses,

Doesn’t work:

- Ray-Ban wayfarers

Works:

- Ray-Ban aviators

- Maui Jim Waterways

Works with my Polaroid Wayfarer clones.
