You shouldn't be using slack with 8gb of ram, use ripcord instead.

That's my point. Ripcord is not built using electron, yet provide the same features as the original slack app.

And it’s built by one developer, and supports Slack and Discord!

Imagine what these massive companies could do if they made their own native clients.

It wasn't anything like the original Slack app last I used it a few months back. Has this changed? It doesn't have a keyboard shortcut to jump between unread channels as a basic example. Or hiding read channels, so I've got a huuuge list.
