Show HN: Beyond the Basics Tutorials

It sounds like an interesting project. I'm personally biased toward reading about things like this. In terms of videos, I am biased toward talks. Personally, I've looked at enough computer screens that I cannot watch videos of computer screens for very long particularly in real time. But that is just me and the potential audience includes a lot of people that are not like me.

And of course this is just the draft version. In general though, I don't think screen casts are a good fit for high level concepts. They are a good fit for instruction manuals like how a particular IDE works. Screen cast videos show better than they tell. This project seems more like telling than showing. Good luck.
