Ask HN: Recommended materials for technical-leads in machine learning?

I just became the technical lead of my companies artificial intelligence team and I would like to do my job way better then I do it right now. What kind of books and other materials can you recommend for this?

I emphasized "machine learning" as I need to manage both engineers and researchers, and connect the tasks to the business needs. But there is a higher uncertainty in the output of the tasks than in "classical" software development.

Maybe I am wrong and there is no targeted material for this, but I am sure this community can advise me some great stuff.
