I've done a lot of work on object detection for my startup www.numberboost.com and I'm thinking of putting together an object detection course.
I'm thinking of teaching how to build: 1. A vehicle license plate recognition system 2. A system that counts people going in and out of a bus at a stop
Are there any other interesting applications of object detection that you'd be interested in seeing or perhaps an object detection problem that you'd like solved?
I'd also appreciate any other constructive feedback on what should be in the course or on the idea of doing a course at all :)
I did a fair bit of research and couldn't find any up-to-date courses that bring all this information together and it took months of pain on real client projects to figure it all out so I hope to help others out with it too. I'm thinking to charge for it but give it away to anyone interested who can't afford it...
