This could really do with the word "JavaScript" in the title, as "the console" could mean a great deal of different things to different readers.

I don't even like the name "console" in the context of js, why didn't they pick "logger"

Yeah, I was thinking something to do with the terminal and command line stuff.

Yeah good point should of had JavaScript in there. Sorry if you visited in the hopes of some terminal tips.
